I'm not going to wait for the Audio book either. Can't stand it when so much gets lost in translation to English.

Isn't it quite telling that this thread is so big considering no one wants to read the f*cking thing!?

Not really.

A good opportunity to give the old pisscan a good slagging is always a joyous occasion.

Maybe so but him releasing a book is such a non event tbh. We all knew he had issues with Beckham, Keane and Rooney. We all knew that City winning the league was the low point of his career. It's hardly like he's made any startling revelations.

I don't believe anyone said he made startling revelations.

Most seem to be rejoicing in the fact that he stayed true to form and looked after himself above all else, even his beloved club when they needed him to keep quiet.

It's fantastic. And that's probably reflected in the thread.

Mark Bosnich intends to seek BaconChops out and confront him at the Melbourne Cup next month over comments he returned to training late and overweight.

Then Bosnich, in a flurry of anti-genius that only he can accomplish, admitted he returned to training late and overweight.

It does seem an odd time to 'stick the knife in' so to speak as you say.
Having said that I do think those who wish death upon him are way out of line and generally quite disturbed individuals.
Not a fan of reading autobiographies atm but at least you could say he's made one at the right time, when he's retired rather than some people who make them when they're about 23.

But not so sure why so many blues give enough of a shit about this!

People read books about serial killers and mass murderers.

Villains are as interesting as heroes. Sometimes more so.

Bacon is a huge player in the game we know and love, like it or not that's a fact. An insight to his way of thinking will interest quite a lot of football fans and sports fans in general, even if he is a miserable whining cunt flap. I don't see the issue myself,I haven't read it and probably won't but I couldn't care less if a Fellow city fan wanted to.

I am surprised Keane is upset. It should be entirely clear to him after all this time what 'loyalty' means: do what Ferguson says and shut up

Cunt? Yes. Hate him? Check. Reading his book? Not on your fucking life.

Some people wondering why he isn't dead? Comparing him to a sex offender? Comparing him to Stalin?

Bang out of line.

I have tried to avoid this thread - thinking like I am sure other CITY fans have - WTF - and not wanting to add to the embarrassing post count that already exists. I had decided to say in some other thread - can we FFS stop adding to this utter twat' s pimping and to ask just why are we the fuck discussing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I see this post and just need to scream out that YES!!!! comparisons with sex offenders, etc. are unjust at a level off the scale.

Such people generally have a diagnosable illness. So it is unfair to mention them in the same breath as this utter obnoxious and self-obsessed twat!! A cunt of the highest order and without a single redeeming feature - utter cunt.

So please - stop all this bollocks and get off the media merry-go-round - he is a utter twat - will always be so and the sooner he fucks off into history - or better the ground - the fucking better for the human race!!

I read Keanes comments this morning. How he can talk about loyalty after the slating he's given out in all his books is beyond belief. Looks to me like they are trying to outcunt each other with no sign of a clear winner yet
