I would like to thank both teams for their informative contribution to the entertainment/results debate, even if they did put it in the wrong thread.

Sagnas header was on target.

I thought the arse fought hard and earned a fantastic point against a powerful contender.

Chelsea were brilliant throughout and possibly shaded it, more proof that these two are the genuine article.

At least that's what might be said on MOTD...

Moureens football is dire..Bet everyone wants to watch City on TV instead. Its very tight at the top but i reckon we can pull away 2nd half of the season.

We had better get on with it as the last 10 games we have are very tough.

Well, that was gash. Still, the table looks a lot better from a few weeks ago:

1 Liverpool 17 23 36
2 Arsenal 17 16 36
3 Man City 17 31 35
4 Chelsea 17 14 34
5 Everton 17 13 34
6 Newcastle 17 2 30
7 Tottenham 17 -5 30
8 Fucking Rag Scum 17 8 28

We get to play the top of the league again on Boxing Day and if we win I wonder if the talk will be about our poor defending?

Thats one slant on it. But they tried that one last week. Im going for the "well they spent 400million they should be top" angle. Thats not been tried since we were last top.

Mata and Osca need to find a manager who plays football instead of chess.

Please don't equate chess with the dross that these two exponents of mediocrity served up tonight.

Mind you, the media are going to have their work cut out in convincing everyone that this was a high scoring, thrill-a-minute encounter.

They'll manage to turn it round and say 2 great defences cancelled each other out whilst at the same time managing to slag off our defence and focus on that. Let the fuckers get on with it while we get on with winning league in style

That angle would be fitting for Liverpool. Just been on the transferleague website and they have spent £400m since the 07/08 season. I was amazed at this as the media never seem to mention it.
