1. Cook was head of the Jordan brand, which is a sub-division of Nike.

2. Moving to a larger or smaller company has no correlation to whether you are getting a promotion/demotion. If you moved from being a high-level product manager at Microsoft ($312B market cap) to being an EVP at Splunk ($9B market cap), does that mean you got a demotion? Fuck no, the valuation of each company has nothing to do with it. It means that you are looking for a new opportunity that offers different challenges, different responsibilities, and a different working environment.

3. You are a fucking moron that keeps requesting facts that have nothing to do with the discussion. You have almost exactly the same arguing style as a creationist trying to make a case against evolution; keep bringing up irrelevant crap while covering your ears when people point out your bullshit.

No doubt if you think going to Salford uni is the same as going to Oxford or Cambridge and there is no more prestige in going there then it's no wonder you rate UFC (moron).
And working for Jordon a sub division doesn't say anything (moron).
Oh by the way moron evolution has plenty of faults.

Barcelona are bigger than City, so are Soriano and Berigistain both Morons or losers? Or do they dare to dream that they can and ARE building something to rival the Best out there....sound similar to cook? thought so.

I wouldn't in the slightest be surprised to see him joining NYCFC in come capacity in the future (if he tires of his UFC role).
If he'd come clean about his email from the beginning instead of trying to cover it up and lie about it he would very probably still be with us.

UFC Europe isn't exactly flying is it, so he could "tire of it" v soon.
@Gingery; I've spent time with a number of people who have very long and distinguished histories in Sports Marketing spanning and touching Gary's career. They (universally) aren't as impressed by him as you say Nike is. Sounds like he should come home to where he's appreciatedve. If they'll have him.
@Dameerto: if he WAS still with us, do you really think we would be where we are?
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Pointless conjecture - I'm more than satisfied with things currently. I was highlighting that he wasn't forced to resign due to sending the email.
