yeah, i honestly wouldn't mind if arsenal battered them 5-0.

Arsenal will implode later in the season.

I think it might help us if it remains a three way race for now, sort of balance out the pressure, so I can see positives in any result at Arsenal tomorrow, so long as we win.

Chelsea have the "on paper" easiest set of fixtures......good old West Brom though. Sky sports cite it as "the blues easing two points clear" huh! Wtf !!!

I recon we need to win the next six, which is possible. Drop any points there & we are not in the driving seat.

If we could win those games, we may get breathing space for the odd fuckup late season. Tricky games to come there, but most of our squad are experienced Premier League Champions, & most of our opponents' players are not.

Apart from a couple of players in Chelsea's team, most of Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool, have never been seriously in a Premier League title showdown let alone won one. We have, & we won it v the most 'experienced' squad of all.

We have seen what can happen when the pressure kicks in. We have to make sure we are right there to fight it out, when the games get tough.

If w are, we may just find that our opponents fuck up even if /when we do & fail to take advantage of our potential slipups.

That's what has happened many times when te rags have been in that position; they don't usually win them all, but their opponents don't either.

With Chelsea slipping up, it is essential we take advantage tonight. We've blown these chances on several occasions this season and we cannot afford to keep doing it.

On paper, Chelsea have the easiest set of fixtures but results like last night show that they will have plenty of tough games in the remainder of the season. We should be looking for maximum points in our remaining home games, and we have a few coming up now which can hopefully get our momentum going again.

We were their cup final, sandwiched between underachieving draws with Wests Ham & Brom.

I recon this kind of stuff will happen now & sometimes cost us, & sometimes we will have to win back the points elsewhere to deal with it. Back in the day, the rags often used to give Liverpool one of their hardest games & often take points, even when they were not in competition, & we have seen it happen the other way around in more recent times.

Arsenal, Chelsea & probably Liverpool, are going to raise their game most times they play us from now on, as we are now becoming the Dragon they all have to kill. The rags may start to do the same in the future.

We have to get used to this status if we are to move to the next level.

Let's not forget that there's other games tonight and a little club over the way can do us a favour.

Fulham aren't a little club, nor are they over the way.

Oh, ohhhh, are they still in this league? Well good on them.

So here we are again with Utd playing and there is talk of the beating Arsenal and kick starting their charge for a chumps league place. Is it possible?

In a couple of recent games I have said how surprised I was at how bad they were. They can say what they like about the Fulham game but they were shocking and the Fulham center back sort of cruelly summed it up when he likened it playing a conference side.

Having suffered so much with Utd winning everything for so long and desperately wanting them to fail I still think they might wake up and play well and maybe they can beat Arsenal. Perhaps as likely if not more so is that Arsenal will get ahead and the rags will drop theirs and it will turn into a rout.

I can live with any result tonight but deep down 8.2 for the Arse would be great.

As bad as Rags are, Arsenal always bottle it with them. Always. Generally will be shocked if Arsenal win.
Arsenal win will definitely feel better but deep down I know a Rags win would benefit us a lot more.
I'll go for an entertaining draw/rags win.

Anything less than an Arsenal win will be a surprise for me. It's at home, rags are poor and Arse have had 10 clean sheets in last 11 at home. Would love to see rags get beat but seeing as hiw Arsenal are still ahead of us in league I'd prefer a draw with injuries/suspensions
