Maybe the BBC can step in and have him as a pundit. That way he still gets to go to the game

Most likely if they do make the final, he will be injured, and for that last league game too!

Loserpool seem to be on the receiving end of some mounting media anger at the moment, for not sorting out Gerrard's contract and keeping him at the Club.

It's also been mainly ascribed to Brenda not liking senior/star players in his squad because he doesn't know how to handle them and feels out of his depth/comfort zone.

All very pleasing really. Long may it continue.

The thing is, quite a few people made the comment when this was announced, that Gerrard is their best player. That seems a ridiculous statement, when you consider how many fuckups he makes per month, but then when you look at that game v Wimbledon & compare all the huffing & puffing by Coutinho etc, to Gerrard sticking the ball in the net, twice, had he not played, they would probably now be out of the cup.

And all joking aside re slipups; had he not been there last season, it's pretty unlikely they would have got 2nd place. been Champions.

What I got from the statements was that Brenda wanted Gerrard out of there as soon as possible.

Come on, you guys know what happened right? Gerrard's whole "I don't want to point fingers" thing?

Brenda has obviously had one of his 'moments' and blamed Gerrard for losing the title.

Maybe it's a running joke in the changeroom and Stevie Starfish has had enough, especially with his "It does not fucking slip" comment in the huddle. Although that I see as less likely because I know It'd be just as painful for the other players as him.

I see Stevie Starfish has already confirmed he is going to sign for LA Galaxy. What a shame, I would have loved the next few months winding up the scousers saying he can still win a premier league medal :-)

So Steven Gerrard's birthday falls on the same day as the FA Cup final.
What a cracking send off it would be if someone could get him a ticket.

Off to LA Galaxy then. What a bonus, I can forget the cunt just as I did Becksum. The problem was, the thick cunt kept coming back!

After 10 years of dithering he finally had the balls to go through with that transfer request.

I have a lot of respect for the lad. Great career even though the league title slipped from him.
I also hail those who stay loyal to their club, not enough of those in today's game imo.

I can understand that. He owes Liverpool nothing you could say.
However I was told an interesting story by my brother-in-law who's a big Liverpool supporter. He was on the Anfield tour and the guide told him Stevie is not well liked amongst the staff. Apparently it stems back to a time when he was at the club shop and was spotted by a kid who went over and asked for his autograph. The story goes that he just said no and walked off. The staff around, were gob smacked that their club captain would do that to a kid.
The guide also said he doesn't be around the club other than training. Others like Carragher or even Sterling would show up at Christmas and the likes and say hello, but not Stevie. He doesn't talk to the staff.

That's the story. No reason to disbelieve the brother-in-law. Whether the guide is telling the truth.....who knows.
