Let's hope the Barca left back sets our lads up as well as the monaco lad just did for Ramsey. Proper amateur for this level. I think they are gunner do it

Nasri wouldn't shoot though. He'd pass it to Yaya.....who'd pass it Silva. Who would pass it back to Yaya again. Then back to Nasri.

Then it'd end up back with Clichy and eventually a throw in near the half way line.

But then we may push forward and get a corner....

Kurzawa is strongly rumoured to be coming to City. Looked worse than Kolarov tonight.

Two teams of shithouses, showed their two sides over the two games.

Monaco tried their best to give that away.
Is it just me or is the Monaco keeper's distribution worse than Joe Hart's.

agreed on Kurzawa....dunno what we're thinking. First time i've actually watched the dude and it was supremely underwhelming.

Arda Turan is a player I would absolutely have at City.

Look at the fight of him in this game vs. leverkusen. That is a player that leaves everything on the field ... and he's got a fucking pass on him as well.

it seems like we've got a consensus or at least a potential "lean" towards finding someone who can get people to graft and all the footballing cliches that go with it. IMHO it's just two players who, when played together, create, sometimes, the challenge -- Yaya and Silva. Replace one with someone who will 100% go get the ball and fight for every 50/50 ball but still has the quality eye for a pass, etc and most of our challenges will be solved. It's when both go missing or are a step slow, in a 4 person midfield that we're pretty much outnumbered 5-2 and we get run off the pitch and then start to get our dicks in the dirt, etc.

Sell Yaya...get A.N. Other midfielder in who has some quality and can partner better and we're off to the races.

We're all bitching about our strikers not firing but we can pretty much guarantee that the quality of balls to them this season is absolute shit when compared to last season.

It starts and ends in midfield, obvs...and that's the problem with the defense as well. Captain Kaveman is trying to push up and win everything possible and do way way way too much and he's fucking up left right and center. And the fullbacks have no confidence that someone is slotting in to cover their attacks so they are half-arsedly playing their role.

Our probs were mostly solved when we had zero strikers and packed the midfield. Should tell us something.

cheers

can't argue with you, that's what I see in Turan, and I would love to have him. He's like a skillful james milner with some nous to him.

Yet again, I find myself agreeing with you. This is getting worrying.
