Sad that you believe that's political agenda Mase. I appreciate some hijack it and use it for their agendas as this whole thread shows but that is not the reason the poppy is worn.

I don't think it's political on the whole mate. But like you say, certain groups use it for political reasons.

As a kid at Maine Rd, I remember Italians, Polish , Jewish, German, Ukranians, blacks and whites all coming together to have a good old sing song , before a punch up with the Rags on Derby day.
