I do believe that there have been many issues concerning drugs that the PL have kept hush-hush, as the Berahino case insisted by Pulis/Stoke. There’s many more that haven’t come out in the open so, for me, it proves that the PL are willing to take a blind eye in order to protect the brand.

I discussed this with some friends in the summer and they were shocked when I said there would be drugs cheating and bribery in football. Yet it is a massive business with huge rewards and all huge rewards attract bribes and cheats. If it has not been found either it is well hidden or they are looking in the wrong places.

I believe the grand scheme of the season is written out like a WWE storyline complete with heroes and villains and romantic arcs. Leicester winning the league, come on. Liverpool winning the league after 30 years to fulfil the destiny that has eluded them all these years. Too much money involved for their not to be corruption throughout. The amount of money involved in gambling is frightening, we're talking many billions here. The big shakers need to know the script so they can score the cards accordingly.
