Still don’t understand why we don’t switch more often, try them from the other side.

ref blew exactly on 45:00 as we were attacking. Plus ignored a plain foul on Cancelo minutes before that.

Won't be betting on us getting a penno...

I know I keep saying it but we are too slow, we go forward and then go back, need Walker pushing up and giving us that bit of pace because no one else is giving us pace upfront, instead of getting near the pen area then go back, put the ball into the area and have players there to try to get the ball

At the match. I don’t think we were shite. Grealish had a lot of the ball and did very little with it. Brugge had too much room on their right from time to time which led to the goal. We were certainly better than against Palace which I also went to. I think Foden would do more on the left than Grealish.

Is that what happens without a striker?

It’s easy to see that all our players in an advanced role choose to turn back rather than head to goal, it’s their natural play. But, when there’s no space due to the defence now advancing then we just end up regurgitating the same play while they do the same.

We can get through but a couple of their’s have to switch off for a couple of seconds as they’re playing so deep they’ll always have cover.

If you notice Phil and Gundo start off runs into the penalty area , but they are ignored and the ball goes sideways or back.

I’m on the same page. Brugge are targeting our left due to the players who are there. Cancelo playing out of position, Grealish’s lack of tracking back at pace, it’s the most obvious tactic to get the ball out there on the break.

Saying that, they got a completely freak goal that cannot be compensated for. We need to do more to force the attack.

How many saves has Mignolet made? Not nearly been worked enough and that is the crux of the issue

We’ve had this many times when we play teams who are so anti-football. Can’t blame them, they will still be in contention if they get something tonight but it doesn’t make it good to watch.
