Sergio must have been desperately sad not to be there in the squad. Contrast then his delight for his team mates victory with Ronaldo sulking after Portugal won the quarter final.

We should all be grateful to Otamendi for not letting the game peter out into a simple 2-0 for Argentina

Arguably the most entertaining world cup final of all time. On the back of a seriously entertaining competition.

I wish messi had have moved to us instead of psg and I've no idea whether it would have worked out (I've a feeling it would have)

Entertainment. That's what it's all about

Great final, to be honest, arguably the best in modern times.
For me 98 still is the very best WC I've seen, but this one really delivered.

What I hate is that cunt Bappe broke Mullers record and most likely will continue until he will be the player with most goals at a World Cup, above Klose and Ronaldo.

Since the last 16 the WC has been all about the football. It should always have been all about the football. No point mixing politics and sport.

My issue is the hyprocrites. People who mouth of then ignore what they have been mouthing about to follow their own agenda and hide behind the football.

The worst is Neville. Mouths of, takes the money, then shuts up, hides behind the football. Why is Neville not highlighting that the female match officials did not get a handshake at the presentations (3/4th place and again after the finals) from the Qatar reps?
You are either in or out but Neville is trying to play every side. As for Beckham........

All about the money, nothing more.
