Schär and Joelinton could easily be off for elbows.
The geordies have lost their bottle.

Foul by Martinelli that resulted in the turnover of possession. Then he goes up the park and hits it off Schar for the goal. He blocked Almiron from getting the through ball. They've been so lucky this game. Newcastle hit the woodwork twice and a penalty overturned. Arsenal allowed to do what they want. All to do with giving Liverpool and United the chance of Champions League football rather than aiding Arsenal but they won't mind that it does help them.

Fair's fair Newcastle have been able to do what they want too. The Ref is crap for both teams

Hope Newcastle have a plan behind closed door.
They will be shafted in every game.
It would have been nice to have a result here, but ultimately is in our hands as usual.

If we beat Everton and Chelsea we can afford two draws in the last two given the goal difference. Alternatively we can afford one loss and three wins in the last four. Still in a strong position.

And just like that, with this result and Everton on the horizon, my fear of typical city turning up with the league in our hands rears its ugly head again. You just never shake it.

Not watched a full arse game in an age, but fuck me, they don't deserve to be challenging anyone for the title. Play acting and time-wasting from the 20th minute.

The only time I've watched them was against us, and that was exactly what they did then.

Newcastle very limited. How are they third, it's been a poor league.
