Mahrez had gone, we'd signed Doku. We had Oscar Bobb.
Maybe Palmer didn't fancy the competition. He was prepared to go to Burnley.

Didn’t fancy the competition but went to a club with 27364792 players?

They were shit. They'd just come 12th. Sterling and Mudryk were 1st choice.

Doku is shit. And Palmer is miles better than him. Don’t understand that point?

The point was about getting straight in the team at Chelsea and possibly not fancying the competition here.
None of us knew much about Doku probably including Palmer.

But Pep knew about Palmer. The fact the club didn’t insert a buy back or sell on shows he spat his dummy out and just wanted rid, not because he didn’t think Palmer wasn’t good enough, but because he’d seen his arse.

Feels like we are extremely light in the creativity department. Even before this sale i thought that, this doesnt help.

You had it spot on.

About fucking time I got something right!! I dont recall being right, i thought i thought it was good money for us. And it was good money but we pissed it up the wall on nunes doku and then later savinho. Not one of them fit to lace coles boots and now we are left with mcatee whos probably not good enough but peps shit scared to let him go incase it happens again but also wont play him.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t get a buy back clause how’s it work? If my company let me fuk off to a rival then after doing mint a year later they say were taking you back I’d tell them to go fuk!

The buy backs are pointless, unless the player wants to come back

What pissed me off about it was even if he hadn't done what he's done at Chelsea, he's been brought up playing the Pep way so knows the system. There wouldn't have been the 12 bedding in period that nearly every signing seems to need. He should have been first in line to replace Mahrez.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

He’d scored in the Super Cup Final and the Charity Shield a few weeks before he was sold. He was ready to go.

He asked to go on loan but Pep said you either stay or get sold. The lad just wanted to play and 12 months later you can understand why.

Absolutely. It’s not just on Pep. Someone should have calmed him down and told him to think rationally. Just saying, “You’re not going out on loan, just leave” was ridiculous and someone should have stopped him.

I’m hoping Viana has a big set of balls.

I’m a fan dick head - I’m not paid 25 million a year to ensure world class talent doesn’t leave the club .
