Ederson. Appalling.

Bad enough to think that, absolutely awful goalkeeping.

Gvardiol entirely to blame there. Absolute crap defending by him there, out for a sunday stroll.

The defender was entirely to blame?

You don't attach any whatsoever to the goalkeeper?

Will Pep blame tiredness again having to play once a week is a real marathon, hmm maybe it’s a combination of shit selection & bereft of ideas & tactics.

Makes all the excuses not to play Grealish and yet consistently picks a player who has been wank all season.

He should have gone to him much earlier so that he couldn't get a shot in. That gvardiol deflected.

At the end of the day it was a shit performance & if anybody thinks we will beat the rags with that crap team & tactics they are deluded, as bad as they are they will score

Gvardiol was not within 10 yds of the goal scorer, had he been marking his man then the player wouldn't have bothered crossing to Hudson Adoy.

Ergo the entire passage of play was on Gvardiols failure to mark his man.

That said, Ederson should have saved it!

……and there you go, the shit keeps being served up. Haaland should be fucking ashamed of himself, he did absolutely nothing in that game, Bernie did nothing but at least he was trying and the only time we displayed any kind of urgency was when the game was lost, nothing for the previous 85 minutes. Now this is down to the manager and the tippy tappy possession tactics. The PL and Europe has caught up with it, it knows how to handle it and beat it and is doing so on a regular basis. We’ve known this since very early in the season and what has the manager done about it ???? nothing, we’ve played exactly the same in almost every game. Of course we’re going to miss Rodri, I watched a few highlights of him last night, Jesus what a player. My worry is that our success with him was not down to just him, we were a great team, and I’m concerned that by the time he comes back we’re going to be so broken that he’s not going to have the influence as before. My big hope is with Bobb, but fuck knows what’s going on there. I really am starting not only starting to lose faith in Pep going forward, I think he may be shot, done, he may have sewn the seeds of his philosophy and he’s had a few great successes and lots of trophies but his philosophy is no longer working, there is something amiss which amounts to much more than the sum of its parts. I still maintain that the club know their legal punishment and that is at the root of our malaise. We’ll see next week probably. That was a really painful watch today and no player gave me more pain than Haaland.

Jesus fucking Christ we suck.

Foden again a passenger.
Haaland did nothing all game.
Bernardo cannot beat a man stay off the fucking wing.
Savinho couldn’t make a cross, Doku couldn’t beat his man. Those two have been good most of the games they’ve played, but today utter shit.
Ederson beaten at the near post and Gvardiol lazy.

Awful stuff all round.
Tracking back is overrated.

I missed the game, but I can only imagine was more of the same.

I think on the long term we are trying to resurrect a dead cat because we loved her too much and instead accepting it is time to move on and get a new cat, we keep on doing this.
Blame the players as much as you want, but the thing is the whole setup is wrong. We are showing zero signs of reinventing ourselves tactical wise because of the stubborness to play a style that is dying. The problem is the one in charge of seeing that will never do it because it means he must admit that his creation is dead.

I would be the first to blame this and that, Foden, who as I said, is a primadonna with 6 world class months in his career, who we keep on building up and see him great because he is one of our own, but the truth is he was played in so many positions that he looks lost.
Same with so many fucking players. Players who are lost and tired because they are forced to do this torture we call our system.
