yeah i was wondering about these "talks" with Tevez and Mancini....

can these two fuclers actually TALK to each other in the same language? Does Bobby know Spanish? or do they piddgen fucl their way through some Italiano-Spanish hybrid of bullshit with some interpreter fucker?

My guess is the latter. Hate to sound xenophobic...but fuckers need to learn English when they live in an English-speaking nation. Simples. If i went to France and lived there and plied my trade as, say, a handyman or a ski bum i'm sure as shit they'd bust my balls and make me brush up on my Frenglish to operate properly. Just sayin.

cheers

Mate, that's because a very large proportion of French people refuse to speak English because they can't get over losing the war over your country. They're just gutted that the world speaks English instead of their daft excuse for a lingo.

Nip over the border into Spain and they're well happy to chit-chat in the good ol' Queens.

I just don't get that with all the time and money they have on their hands, the clubs don't make it compulsory. Like the training.

WTF is going on, Tevez to blame for the annihilation of the English Language (that's English Language, not American Language btw)?

Who'd have thought it!

They normally don't have to as most players have enough respect for the club, the fans and the country they earn a fortune in to take it upon themselves to do it.

I think the answer is that, although training is always conducted in English, Bobby's trusty interpretor will be at the meeting - these guys are smart, he probably speaks every lingo. As for Tevez I dont think he even speaks Spanish very well!

Ahah, I like your attitude :D It's just that for foreign English speakers like me at times it's hard to spot which spelling is the UK one and which one is US.

Quite simple really to differentiate between the two. Americans (being lazy spellers) drop the u in all words that have ou: colour E/ color A, favour E/favor A. And then there is the re or er as in centre E/ center A. Oh and don't forget aluminium E/ aluminum A.
Someone mentioned defence, do American spell it with an s ?
Is this still the Tevez post or have I got lost ??

Yeah it sounds like what they refer to as "barrio vaquero" Spanish - or "cowboy district" to the uninitiated

Indeed they do. Although it's actually pronounced 'attack'.

Back on topic. I reckon that Tevez is a little disconnected from everything that's going on because of the language barrier. I'd love to know what's actually going on in his head.

"Wow, everyone's treating me different and looking at me funny but I don't know why. My lord and master tells me it's because of the Evil Cook so it must be true. Oh how I love him. He gives me shiny coins."

A little known fact is that American English is closer in many ways to the English spoken in the British Isles 400 years ago rather than the modern British tongue. So if any group of people has changed the language, it's us.

So as far as evolution goes, we're 400 years ahead of the Yanks, happy with that.

I think they either spell it defense or 'pre-emptive strike with cruise missiles'
