Indeed they do. Although it's actually pronounced 'attack'.

Back on topic. I reckon that Tevez is a little disconnected from everything that's going on because of the language barrier. I'd love to know what's actually going on in his head.

Haha priceless.

Marwood has just stated that he thinks Carlos will stay, with a very stern demeanour.

Great interview as well, met him before and he seems a very decent bloke.

Just been on SSN, and when asked directly if he thought Carlos would stay, he had no qualms in saying yes he would, twice. He was also saying we've got a great group of player's and that we are very happy with all the personalities within the dressing room - our emphasis is to keep the group together and if someone does come up in the window who can enhance the squad, then we'd be in for them (wry little smile on his face when saying this) but we'd be keeping our card's close to our chest. Suggested to me that we have player/s on the radar.

Mind you the Spanish have the same problem with those South and Central American fellas.

Ahah, I like your attitude :D It's just that for foreign English speakers like me at times it's hard to spot which spelling is the UK one and which one is US.

Quite simple really to differentiate between the two. Americans (being lazy spellers) drop the u in all words that have ou: colour E/ color A, favour E/favor A. And then there is the re or er as in centre E/ center A. Oh and don't forget aluminium E/ aluminum A.
Someone mentioned defence, do American spell it with an s ?
Is this still the Tevez post or have I got lost ??

I think they either spell it defense or 'pre-emptive strike with cruise missiles'

They will get it sorted im sure, even if in reality they just put a sticking plaster over the whole thing for now. I'm kind of expecting that will happen and it will be back to business as usual, they wont say too much about it and we wont find out what the real beef was all about.

On a more positive note there is a good chance this 'crisis' will clear the air between Mancini and Tevez. I mean in the so called football differences of opinion. There is also a very good chance of Tevez upping his game v Everton imo.. it is just the way he is i rekon. I wouldn't be surprised by a typical Tevez goal plus an assist for Balotelli.

Quite right BBS. Mancini is too smart AND hard for the likes of Tevez.

Here's our Chief Operating Officer Football - that's what he was called!

this is the Sky report of what he said before this bit

Manchester City will benefit from their strength in depth when the UEFA Europa League resumes, according to Brian Marwood.

Roberto Mancini's side will fancy their chances after drawing Greek side Aris Thessaloniki in the last 32 on Friday, who finished fourth in their division last term.
However, Aris do have former Inter Milan and Valencia boss Hector Cuper at the helm, who previously led the latter to two UEFA Champions League finals.
Edge
City football administrator Marwood is expecting an exciting encounter given Mancini also managed Inter, but feels the Blues will have the edge because of the strong squad at their disposal.
He told Sky Sports News: "I think we're relatively pleased.
"It's two former Inter coaches going head to head and I'm looking forward to it.
"With the preparation time we have we feel we're in a very strong position in terms of our squad. Roberto has had the opportunity to rotate the group which allows players to be rested before certain games.
"It will be a difficult period, I think we play Manchester United before the away trip but as we get close we will prepare accordingly. We feel we're in good shape."
Marwood insists City are comfortable with their existing squad, and have no plans for any major changes in the January transfer window.
"We feel very comfortable with the group that we have," he added. "I don't think we believe there has to be too many changes.
"But you don't know what will present itself. I think that, as you would expect, we're not going to tell the world which players we may or may not be interested in.
Interest
"Equally, we're not going to tell the world who may or may not be interested in players within our squad.
"But it's important that we keep a good group together that can focus and can compete for the competitions that we're in.
"We spent a lot of time and hard work in putting the group together and we don't necessarily feel we have to make major changes.

I can't see a large number booing him, if any. He is clearly at some degree of fault in all this, but until it all comes out in the wash I dont think there is any sense blaming anyone, and booing him is only more likely to push him closer to the exit door

I took him out of my fantasy team at the start of the week which means, given my inadequacy at the game,he will be playing...... (however,it's a sacrifice i'd be more than happy with!)

He owes us a big, big performance on Monday. If he's leaving, he better leave by winning us as many points as he can before he inevitably departs.

I have done exactly the same thing and replaced him with Mario.

No offence BadKompany as this isn't directed at you, its just that your repsonse is a good example of a lot of fans i guess.

We need to big up and get over our reaction to Tevez's behavoir. No one is perfect and a lot of us are stupid from time to time.. not least star footballers. One thing we can be fairly certain of is that Tevez will give more on the pitch that any other player - happy or not. He will do his utmost to score and for us to win. So just balance that out with the frustration annoyance and disappointment of what he has done. We still dont know any of the reasons behind it, only speculation. Im not condoning Tevez's action but i am saying that we should just wait and see, what happens and what the club say and if he does what Tevez says. More important than all the words are the actions on the pitch and that ultimately is what this all comes down to.

Sometimes you need a bit of a crisis to club heads together, usually there is a bit of six of one and half a dozen of the other. Maybe i am a bit too balanced in my view but i think there was always more to this than met the eye and there is a possibility that Tevez has an argument that is in some way valid.. just sayin.

On Monday we have one of the most important games of the season, we have to beat a bit of a bogey team and cement the run of results that we are on, if we do that and play well and come out on top we will put ourselves well and truly in the mix of winning the title. Tevez with whatever the fucl he is going through or thinks he is doing will more than likely be an important part of getting one over Everton and starting us off on the race for the title. Tevez has more than ever got something to prove on monday and out of all our players he would be the one after this mess of his making, that will come out and inspire us to take the fuclers apart.

It may sound a bit perverse, but this having happened imo is one of the best things that can have happened before the Everton game and it will be the catalyst for steamrollering them and forging a mentality that will be difficult for any team to stop, home or away. We haven't seen as yet what this team can do.. only little glimpses, when it happens it will happen with a bang and this episode is just the kind of thing that creates the spark.

Ignore the shit, get behind the team and get behind poor old little Carlos. The best thing the fans could do is roar the fuclin place down right from the start.

That's a very good, passionate post BBS.

That said, I don't have a clue how I'll react at Everton. Beating them is the most important thing, I guess.
I won't boo Tevez. I don't boo our own players. I don't boo opposition players for that matter. I did boo Keane that time when he was managing Sunderland.......that's different.

I think I'll just get behind the team as usual. I would like to see an apology/explanation/message to fans from Tevez before Monday though. It would go a long way to papering over the rift.
