Scum's debt up 27% to 409 million, despite a 40% increase in TV revenue.
Woodward blames it on brexit.
I blame it on them being cnuts.
It'll be lovely when they don't qualify for the CL gravy train again.
It says matchday revenues are up 27%, which seems a bit dubious, unless they've had a huge increase in season ticket prices which the media somehow failed to pick up and criticise them over it.......or am I missing something ??
Moreover the new valuation of 'Pigshed', at £4.8 million, seems highly optimistic.
I think UEFA ought to critically scrutinise these returns, with regard to FFP compliance.
The latest rags email flyer says they are retaining season ticket prices for the next season. They claim the prices have been frozen for four years now. Very strange ,match day (dubious , out of sell by date) meat pie prices must have rocketed .
It's really bizarre that they should be up 27% on matchday.
Given that ticket prices are even there are maybe 3 possibilities:
1) More home matches in the relevant period
2) An outbreak of enthusiasm on the arrival of Maureen after the dire Moyes and the double-dire Van Gaal, - people with STs actually turning up instead of just being counted, and buying more pies
3) Players signed who people had heard of, more shirts etc

Brilliant!

What about the fact had Mata been sent off in the previous game, he would have been suspended for this one. Might not have scored the first when they did?

Very true mate, and this is why the old saying of 'Evening itself out' just doesn't ring true. In fact, it's another Taggart myth that is peddled as the truth.
'Fergie time', what the fuck is that bullshit!

My money is on Tyler who first coined that phrase. Whoever it was though needs hanging from a suitable lamp post
