I just hope if he goes, we get the full whack from Madrid for him.

We could really use that £12m for January.

This is shit, we need answers !

How is the crowd supposed to respond if he plays if we dont have real answers from the club.

I'd be almost certain that the Club will say something, or rather that Mancini will. I doubt on the other hand that Tevez will say anything.. anything worthwhile anyway, and tbh that might be best as he is better off doing his talking on the pitch. I suppose the club might issue something on his behalf, but personally i wouldn't put much value in that anyway as it would be PR speak stuff.

Mancini will have a presser before the game.. Sunday probs and the first question will be.. What is the situation with Carlos Tevez!
So we will find out then if not before.

Latest Guardian update on the "talks".
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010 ... ester-city

Roberto is thinking of stripping him of the captaincy, but only temporarily. He would give it to Vinnie if he does strip Tevez of it. I'd have no issues with that outcome, what about Kolo though? Isn't he the vice-captain?

I always think it's amazing when Bobby comes out of a meeting room and immediately phones a national paper. Very considerate I'd say.

Even Doug doesn't have an update!!

I may be the only one here who thinks this should be and open and shut case. Listen, irregardless of the motives,
home, money, broken relationships, change of weather, desire to play in a Spanish speaking country, better cooked chorizo--

Who gives a shit!!! His time was up the moment he decided to sign that transfer paper!!

The one thing this club lacks is a clubhouse identity and having the athletes and staff get down on your hands and knees, crying
"You are the special, El Apache," only feeds his monstrous ego. And that's what this is one big circle jerk. His agent gets what he wants and Carlos can convince himself he's better off, or whatever else comes into that half empty cantaloupe of his.

Argentina worships this guy as a people's player and he's obviously not a club player!!
Finally the Rags and us have something in common. We both believe Carlos is a Cunt!!!

Sounds like you have been reading the british press a bit too much mate.

There is one and only one important thing that has to happen come Monday, that is to beat the Blue Scouce into the ground, whatever that takes is whatever needs to be done, if Tevez is a part of it or not it is irrelevant. Dont start doing the job of Everton or the press, get behind the team get behind City whatever they decide to do.

Funny. I have been waiting out the Tevez affair in the press. I am for city putting the best squad on the pitch, which is what we all want. If they feel that's with Tevez, I will still cheer as much as usual. But what's up above is my own personal rant and I stick by it.

Fair dues. I will simply say that apart from him handing in the T request for some reason, we all have no idea whatsoever what this is all about, or what has gone on. All there is, is speculation.

And out of interest where did you come up with the "You are the special, El Apache" then?

Maybe, 'You are special, El Apache!' is better. It is pretty commonly know that Argentinians call him that. I met one of his countryman, who called him the People's Player and The Special One.

Most Americans refer to Landon Donovan as, 'Who the hell is Landon Donovan?' Sad to say!

Well, thank's for fuck all eh!
The insider told ESPNsoccernet: "There hasn't been a detailed discussion yet about the implications of the meeting with Carlos Tevez and Roberto Mancini, so everything for the moment is speculation, but the player's attitude was one of calm."
