Early days, still, but watching him in and outside the pitch, not signing Messi looks like a blessing.

On the other side, Mbappe. My oh my.

Meanwhile Danny Murphy pumping out sickening sugary adulation over Pogba - who's done nothing again
meanwhile Di Maria just woke up

Fantastic goal by Di Maria but Argentina are dreadful.

Lucky to still be in this.

I’ve no idea what their game plan is. Messi sometimes is up front then he’s playing as a deep midfielder. The defence is all over the place and Mascherano is completely off the pace. Any chance the wingers cross the ball there is no one in the box yet they still cross it anyway.

Incredible how it is 2-2, but the game is at best mediocre.

Nice finish by Mbappe but the goalie had a mare. Kun now on

Future (Mbappe) meets past (Messi). This game will go down as one where legends of different generations met.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Tactically absolutely clueless. The amount of space they give to France is laughable. U12 level pressing.

Playing Mascherano, on his own desire (as the argie papers said) in the middle is pure madness. Legs are beyond done and you play him in one key position against Kante and Pogba.

Some deserve what is happening to them.

Mascherano is absolutely done. He was never fast but it seems like Someone has glued his feet to the pitch.

Messi must look at Kante and then look at Mascherano and just wonder WTF he’s doing

How much had Mbappe’s fee just went up?

Who cares? I’d be in dreamland if we signed him.

Otamendi is such a twat. Constantly diving.

Needs to cut that out.
