I'm sure everyone can now see we are a harmonious football club with a unity of purpose and a modest but determined manager who allows the players on the field do the talking, and how pleasant an experience that is. Its a pleasure to be hearing so little from a certain exponent of 1970,s dance culture. The grin ratio has been higher than it even was under Mercer and Allison and has got to the point round me in ES that even the screamers(well most of them) are enjoying themselves. My own view as a doubting Thomas is that we have left ourselves short in defence at right fullback, CB( I thought Demichellis would be ok but he has started to make howlers on a too regular basis) and defensive midfield. Jovetic may provide adequate cover at left midfield and Demichellis at defensive midfield. Relying on Micah is madness and I have come round to the view we need a top cb. We have obviously tried for Mangala but looks like knocked back til summer so I expect we will persevere with what we've got. Not getting a rb and not selling Micah while he is "fit" will come back to haunt us if Zab picks up an injury. So, for these reasons, as well as rub of the green reasons we may just fall short. However, atleast we know everyone in the hierarchy is in agreement about what we should do, how we should play, how to meet fair play rules and who we should buy, so really its a sit back and enjoy the ride situation, with our biggest test yet coming on Weds night when Spurs will hit us with a typical English high tempo aggressive game on a slick surface under lights. Can't wait.

Ahhhh mr glass half empty!

I don't disagree on some of the areas where we can still strengthen....I think we all know them BUT that is not what this thread is about. It's about how MP is managing the club and has us playing and performing and how satisfied with that you are

Maybe the odd carriage return would have been useful?

The edit function on the app does remove them so they need adding back in.

One draw in December, one in January. A draw a month? Meh.

City are the first team since Arsenal in 1934/35 season to score 11 goals against the Spuds in a League season. I think Pellegrini should get credit for that stat alone.

It feels similar to the second half of Keegan's promotion season, when the team knew they could thrash anybody, and did twice at home even when we were down to ten men early on. The main threat now could be overconfidence and lack of concentration.

I've just gone for highly dissatisfied, as this is costing me a fortune with all the cup games and the perpetual grin is starting to make my face hurt. Bring back Pearce!

This is the best I have seen City playing.. ever.

Every single player playing with freedom, confidence and pure joy. It's a pleasure to watch.

Credit goes firmly to Pellegrini. He has dragged the potential out of this team, to the point where I feel like we could win anything and everything.

The Pearce era of no goals and dire dire football just seems like a bad dream now. We are blessed with one hell of a team here lads, from the board to players, this club is performing magnificantly atm.

Loving it!

18 wins from the last 20, the other two were draws.

Yeah, I'm pretty satisfied.

What makes me happy is those moments when momentum swings and you wish we'd scored more than 1 and we still end up walloping teams.
