Got sick of the two of them going on about the offside last night, then saying that things usually go against you when you're fighting relegation. A more balanced view would have been to say that we too have been on the wrong end of some decisions this season but it seems now that they are all adopting the BT model for our coverage.

What happened to "these things usually even themselves out over the course of the season" ?

Listened to Radio 5 as a Now TV technical glitch which deprived me and many others of watching the match. No mention of the goal being offside and Shearer said after re-watching the other incident that Sergio should have a penalty.

Had a quick glance at the back pages of the papers in the supermarket and without fail they all bang on about the 'robbery' of the offside goal with particular mention of Sergio being offside for 30 seconds before that. So he and all the other players and even the ball did not move in half a minute?

Does anyone know how to claim to Now TV to reclaim my pass money? They make themselves very difficult to contact.

On a few occassions now there's been a guy commenting our MOTD highlights that used to comment them on our website. He did the commentry for yesterday's game for example. Who is he and has he moved on from our website to the BBC or what's the deal? Does anyone know?

Alistair Mann? He's a well known City fan so he was probably commentating on highlights for our website as a favour maybe? I know when I bought the VHS season review of either 1995/1996 or 1996/1997 when I was a kid he was the one doing the commentary.

Long standing blue.

EDIT: I'm not sure he is a City fan now actually having read this-
http://www.viewfromablue.com/2011/10/05/exclusive-alistair-mann-interview-mancini-balotelli-silva-citytv-technology-preparation-and-more/

He refers to us as 'City' or 'Manchester City' rather than 'us'.

I don't know about that Mase. He sounds genuinely excited in a good way if we score when he is commentating. Contrast that to the other tossers like Tyler who sound as if they have just received news of a close family member passing away when we score!!

I know mate, that's why I've assumed he was a City fan all these years.

But not unsurprising. Lost to a team without an away win in the league all season

Sky reporting a few minor scuffles last night. If it was us we would be ripped to bits for all that hooliganism. I suppose the dipper fans are improving though, as they didn't actually murder anyone this time.

Telegraph has an article harking back to the 'embarrassing lap of dishonour' after last but one match finished.

No mention at all of United's empty stadium BEFORE their final match.

Wonder if the media will report the apparent hiring of Mourinho as a slur against LVG and a disgrace the way it was done like they did with Hughes and Mancini when they were relieved of the duties?

Suspect it will be all about LVG going out on a high and how he has steadied the ship, yadda yadda yadda.

Because he's a pundit now, and as we all know, pundits know everything as fact, not speculative bullshit.

Not that unreasonable.
But I always thought The Count was in the know about Pep. Even as far back as signing a one year extension
