Class effort from the lads there. Too many streaming problems for me to properly and totally assess the match. However, we are in for one hell of a ride. WOOHOO!!
That's 1 away win.

The revolution has officially started. Debut goal by Ade, Stevie to seal it, with SWP orchestrating both - couldn't have asked for too much more offensively.
Clearly we have some work to do in the back but there's a little more wiggle room when we have an attack like that.
So happy the season is finally here - congrats to all Blues and let's enjoy the ride!

Brilliant victory, after a shaky first half.
Dunney and Gaz the main men today; Tevez a great substitution, Ireland a great finish, but good defensively; Bellers a trier; Bridge's best game yet for us, so hope there.
Ade great goal, though some of his passing options a bit suspect; Toure improved second half.
As did SWP
And Shay mostly solid.
All in all, a great start to the season

Great result for the lads...
Under mega pressure but we showed class and character to press for possession when we lost the ball and to push forward with it. The defence had a few mishaps, maybe, but in general played well giving me hope! The midfield were fantastic, Barry and Ireland linking up well in the centre and pressing when not in possession.
Man of the match for me... Adebayooor. He was involved in nearly ever move and scored on his competitive debut. Super.

A debut goal for Ade, Ireland off the mark already, a clean sheet and a win at one of the toughest places to go away, topped off with a sliding challenge by Hughes on Fat Sam. Great start to the season.

That was a lot tougher fixture than I think a lot of people thought, and we've come away with a solid 2-0 victory. Bburn have only lost twice I think, at home under big fat Sam. Fantastic.

I hope they show Hughes' tackle on MOTD - I missed it on the feed.
