I bet Arsenal are crapping themselves, Everton have started the fightback! They've got two minutes to score another six goals

Somehow, we most likely will get the blame for this... Moyes at the best of times is a bad loser so he will say we have disrupted his team...

Only just seen this thread and didn't even realise they were playing today but just sat laughing my head off having caught up thanks to these 3 pages. Astounding scoreline and the post match interview is going to be priceless

Moyes deserves this, he has been a right tw*t by hanging Lescott out to dry in front of the Everton fans like that. They will be piss poor both at the back and in terms of team morale untill they get rid of him imo.

Quite frankly he can keep Lescott !

I only saw the first half and Everton were pretty bad.

It really does seem he is. Which makes me wonder whether we actually want knob like that. I mean I can fully understand him wanting to move to us and being pissed off at Moyes but to actually "take a dive" is bit disgusting. When you pull on the shirt you give everything to the cause. Contract negotiations are held elsewhere.

True bud. But,
After yrs of service and never won anything, he wants to better hiself by playing for City.
Moyes has said no and all the fans are booin him..I cant really blame him for playin like this..Its prob the only way to get out of Everton for good..

I agree if your hated by your fans and your manager keeping you there like that you do silly things you can't blame him for doing it. Wouldn't hold it against him if he signed for us.

Arsenal were truly immense, shows all these people who were writing them off that when they play like that they're still one of the best teams in the league.

Jo was absolutely terrible today.

It would seem that both Villa and Everton have come out of the off-season seriously weakened. The other surprise is that Arsenal are still a force to be reckoned with.

Based on what I saw today, City need a stabilized defence if they want to crack the charmed circle. I think we will see a tinkered line up next game.

Other observation: Barry was the best bit of business this summer.

BTW I am a fan of Moyes. He gets a lot out of what he has to work with. His stance re Lescott is exactly what we would expect if a raider hit on City.

Well, what can you say about that performance by Everton? Cannot blame it all on Lescott though. He's handed in a written transfer request, he went to Moyes before the game to say leave me out, my head isn't right and Moyes still played him. The blame is all Moyes imo.
