I havnt seen anything from chelsea or the scum to think we cant be right up there with them this year, gonna watch liverpool and see how they get on. Arsenal i think were a tad lucky to win 6-1 yesterday ill have to wait to see how they do over the next few games but i really think we can give them all a good run for there money this year come on city!!!!

Gonna watch the dippers against spuds..I want the dippers to win

Glad somebody else thinks the rags were shit. I can't believe how shit they were, how gutless Birmingham were, settling for a 0-1 & how diabolically shite Joe Hart was. Almost put the rags 3 up on his own; poor poor stuff from Joe.

If that lot win the PL or Chumps LG, it'll be because teams are playing the myth rather than the real thing. Sure they can turn in some quality performances in one off games & also be hard to beat when they're all fit but no way can that squad produce top level performances day in day out for a whole season, especially in 3-4 competitions. It's up to everyone, top or bottom, to do the bastards when they have a stinker like today. They were nothing today.

Well said as always Tedster.
I cannot see the rags doin well at Blackburn away like we did yest.
The Tranny won them countless games and now hes gone and we got Tevez there goin to struggle if they dont sign a couple of players before the window closes.
To add what you noted on the myth..Im convinced they will lose that fear factor this season.
Joe Hart made some good saves but he was aweful on crosses and cant catch a ball to save his life.Lets hope he improves.

Both Carragher and Skrtel picked up knocks early on. If wishes were horses....

The weekend gets better and better - Scouse 1 with an already thin squad and both their central defenders taking a beating.

They're in all kinds of trouble, not sure I want one of our rivals for 5th spot taking three points though.

Liverpool look utter shite. It'll be 0-1 with Kuyt in the 90th.

That was a lovely goal, even though it was for that tapping-up twitchy fecler's team.

You watch the scouse come back into this hard now.

Cannot believe they were just overrun in the first half.

Nice goal from the Spud player though, his name sounds like cheese.

I'm gonna sound like a bird now but can somebody please explain the off side rule to me. Great strike by the spuds full back but how the hell has Defoe not been flagged? He's right in line with the strike in an offside position in front of the keeper.

Scousepool's performance so far makes Phil Thompsons comments about it being top three now worth a good laugh. I've seen the six best teams in the league in action now and Liverpool has bee by far worst.

If the ref rules that Defoe wasnt interferin with play then the goal will stand.

The season isn't won in August guys, before we get carried away remember the Sky4 know the race is a marathon.

Hitting the ground running won't hurt us any, but I'd prefer to be injury free in January to be honest.
