Manchester City Ladies FC 09

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Manchester City Ladies FC 09

Postby Sister of fu » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:27 am

For those we are interested we started our season yesterday and got off to a great 4-0 win against Sheff Wed.

Sheff Wed had made vast inprovemtns are now financially backed so makes it all the more pleasing. They turned up with a laptop and projector we had a marker pen and a flip chart…!!

We have added no new players and have continued where we left off at the back end of last season.

We have now not conceded a goal now in 450 mins of football and that is impressive at any level.

We are off to Luton Town next week and hopeful of another 3 point.

You can check out our facebook page on MCLFC and check us out in our new kit....!!

Cheers

Andie.

Great stuff.

It is bloody good going to not concede a goal for that long. Hope you have a top season.

Little Kell did great, always does. Has one of the best first touches you will see in womens football (no rude jokes boys).

Everyone is more than welcome to come down and watch us play. We play at Flixton Town off Valley Road.

I think the next home game is Wednesday 26th Aug kick off 7.45pm. Curzon Ashton, big local derby for us.

In that case....
"WELL IN" and a "BIG UP" to you....(but only in a platonic way).

Sis, Have you had any feedback on getting any more support from the club?
The ladies seem to be in need of this and are an integral part of the "CITY COMMUNITY"
