The City Debate Show

Postby King Kev » Tue Aug 18, 2009 4:52 pm

I was really hoping this would be brought back for the new season but can't see any mention of it on the Sky planner.

Has anybody heard anything about what is happening with it?

Was looking for this myself last night, disappointing if it's not on anymore. Will have a listen to Lakey and Cheesy now though.

bloody realplayer is dodgy as hell for me, don't like rp at the best of times and this is the first time I've downloaded it on the Mac and it's no better.

Not totally convinced by the show as yet, quoting people off bluemoon, what's that all about??

Lakey posts on bluemoon & I think that girl does too. Apparently they've been asking for 'humourous' stories etc regarding supporting City & obviously if they asked us it'd involve adult themes & anti social behaviour.

It's unlikely to Dev. For some reason the club seem to be up Bluemoon's arse at the moment. I just hope the powers that be don't think the childish WUMs on there are representative of City forum users and City fans in general.

Who are the people in the studio? just random fans? Not rated their opinions so far, no mention of Ned, suggesting Bridge as possible captain material

Yeah, great to hear Tiatto. I was at that trial game Lakey was talking about when Tiatto tore our trialists to pieces playing for Stoke. If I remember rightly we had some Argentinian lads playing for us who didn't know what had hit them! Don't remember SWP being involved as Lakey said but maybe he was.

Sure that was a good while before Tiatto signed though, I remember Frank Clark swanning over to have a look before soddidng off back to his crypt.

amateur hour at first, no real debate just everyone agreeing with each other (and talking some major league crap, Bridge for captain indeed). Lot's of inane stuff read out from Bluemoon/Facebook and then a couple of half decent interviews. 5/10 for me, potential to get better though
