Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I got the impression he wasn't talking about Tinker-man/Rafa-style rotation for the sake of it, he was saying different players will suit different matches. For example Blackburn away will require a different set of tactics than Wolves home - there may even be some play in the midfield this week.
Also last year we played people who were clearly fucked, due to our lack of options - SWP, Robson, Ireland, Zabba, Kompany to name a few.
Now if the likes of Bellamy has a sore knee he can rest it because we have quality stand-ins. Give everyone time to recover from knocks and injuries.
And everyone should be fighting for a place. We had some on here who didn't want to buy players 'because it will upset so-and-so'. What a load of shite!

Re - rotation
Players will have their opinions. But the role of the manager is important here.
He doesn't need to be mates with everyone but he is as much a a part of the team as anyone playing and they need to know where they stand.
The problems always seem to start when the rotation doesn't include a particular player and he doesn't get to talk from the manager about it.
That seems to have been the issue Tevez had with "Danish".
