What's our best team now? You can include Lescott.

I'm really not 100% sure myself but I'd play this.

Weiss---------Ireland--------Barry-------Robinho

PWP? Weiss over SWP right now?? And last I checked Lescott was not officially here. Edge mate, you are living in a dream world.

Going of all the players form atm I would say that is our current best 11.

I'd could go with that to be honest, but I like Ned instead of Lescott. I really think we have the answer back there already if people are happy to stay and fight for places.

SWP played well at the weekend but struggled again in the middle tonight, so Weiss in for him on the right is a tough call as well.

Nice problems to have though!

That'd be mine. Swapping Ned for Lescott if we get him.

If and when we sign Lescott, I think we could become really strong at the back, with loads of ways of going about things.

My preferences would be either

Ned Toure Lescott Bridge or

Richards Toure Ned Lescott.

Essentially I want Toure, Ned and Lescott in there.

Definately go with that, great team selection. Bellamy could come on for Robbie/Tevez and Weiss could come on for SWP and the team would not be weakened at all.

Tin hat and Flak jacket time........................but for me from what i have seen last season and at blackburn..........i would go for Bellemy instead of Robinho on away games in the same formation you have. I thought out wide on saturday he was very good...his pace is frightening and he pins back full backs and opposition wide midfielders.

RSC for Adebayor in Jan when he does one to the Cup of Nations.
Dunnie in for Toure for same reason as above.
Weiss used as a sub to bring on in games we are winning comfortably.
And this is only my opinion but I think Micah would thrive on being captain, however I don't think he'll be playing all the games this season with Zab coming in for some, so I'd probably either have Toure or Bazinho as captain.

I thought we'd established that Adebayor is better not playing the top man, rather behind Bellamy (like last Sat) or RSC in a 4-4-1-1? Another option is to get Robson off that left side and put him behind the first striker.

I missed the last 15 minutes of last nights game, but wasn't TBH playing really well?
If he's finally found his pre-Chelsea form, we have another good back up for the defense.

I cant argue with that, he does seem to make more of a contribution than Robinho of late, the only thing I dislike in Bellamys game is the amount he is offside, its verging on ridiculous I realise he has pace and is very quick off the mark but I feel he is not making the conscious effort stay in line with the defence, he wastes too many potential opportunities.

Replays on the live feed showed at least 2 of those 'offsides' weren't, especially if you still need this 'daylight' thing. When a striker plays there, like him and Anelka do, you only need to be clear once to get through.

But two of how many, I dont want to sound like I am slating Bellamy because I think he is a belting player, but it happens far far too much!!
