The Tide is beginning to turn, but lets not count our chickens before they're hatched. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

How did that one end?
We won a friendly FFS.

It may have only been a friendly, but nonetheless we beat the European Champions, proving that we can compete at Champions League level. Did any City fan realistically expect that? Not only that, but we finally settled our disastrous defence, though Ben Haim did his best to wreck that. And all on the same night that U***d completely lost their mojo.
If this is the moment that City stopped thinking like a small club, then it could be the dawn of a new era. Knowing City's capacity for self-harm though, we might have a few wobbles in early infancy.

And like the losses to south african teams, it was a friendly that we shouldn't read too much into. Good win, awesome opponents, but still a friendly.
