This is a good idea. Would be good to honour our past in a way.

Have you got a full size pic of your one currently up?

How about that huge Welcome To Manchester banner being passed over the crowd. That'll look pretty good on MoTD.

Maybe the mistake we made was to ask.

Only too true.

This happens a lot in general life.

If you rang up the police station and said "I'm unclear on the rules, am I allowed to smoke some cannabis, only £5 street amounts worth. I'll be in my own home so I won't be causing any trouble"

They'd say: "Under no circumstances! You would be caught and face a possible jail sentence!"

Where in reality the .5% chance a policeman catches you, at worst a slap on the wrist.

Me and my mate was once caught smoking it in a car, and a chief policeman caught us this one time, and he said "Now you know you shouldn't be doing that" and drove off.

lol..Another popular one is askin for a day off work, not being given it and then ringin in sick anyways. You could get in the shit big time as its obvious you are pullin a fast one.if you think you wont be given the day off its best not to ask at all and just pull the sicky

On the basis that the club has obviously taken a very definite move to embrace the forums and bring them "into the fold" (see the fan quotes on the OS etc) I think that if you asked again and agreed to submit the design for approval you would get a "yes" from the club.

In fact I'm pretty much positive of that fact.
