Failure to finish off a littany of clear cut chances almost cost us - we MUST work on finishing - we cannot afford to be so profligate - Les has to make this clear

3 points. Good stuff. Not the greatest second half but job done. Would have been a different game had we got the second, they'd have crumbled. Not finishing it let them get back into it. On another day we'd have won 4-0. played 2 won 2, 2 clean sheets. Cant complain.

I'm just happy it's another win.

We have to remember that we are now a major scalp for many of the other teams to beat. Be the 1st to beat moneybags Man City. They've got to stay used to that. Wolves saw by half time that they could still get something and really went for it.

6 points out of 6. Magic.

3 pts. Clean Sheet.

We look dodgy in the air at the back at times. Some poor clearances.

Ade, Robinho, and Tevez looked like worldbeaters together. On an average day we'd have won 3-0, so hopefully this is anomalous. Regardless, Wolves comported themselves well and kept at it. I can't imagine they could go down if they play like that all season.

Given was class when it mattered most. SWP, and Barry looked very solid.

So far, we're MAXIMUM. All the points. Nothing conceded. That's fine by me.

cheers

MOTM?

Unfortunately I only caught the second half, but from what I saw id go for either Adebayor or Sweep, (honurable mention to Barry)

on a side note... Bellamy has suprised me every single game he has played- usually hes MUCH better than i thought he was.. and then when I start to think hes actually quite good, he puts in a stinker! To be fair he hasn't had many bad games for us so i'll call this a one off.

He always does - Im saying they are targetting his willingness to get forward so often.

The balance isn´t quite right is it? A bread and butter DM who does the donkey work without the frills is something we don´t have - Nigel hasn´t quite done it for me and Komps is too classy - you can have too much quality at times - you need the unsung heroes to make a team

Im sure things will turn around and they will settle in with a few more games under there belt.
Todays game was a little unbalanced.Spesh when we were defending.Centre of MF didnt help the defense out enough for me.
Hughes did bring Nige on to rectify it,but it didnt work.Had a few scares 2nd half didnt we.
To be fair we did miss a bucket load of chances.I think the score flattered Wolves

First of all.... 3 points, good.

Next, we need to capitalize on our chances especially chances like Ireland and Adebayor had in the 2nd half... unacceptable that they miss those, that could cost us in other games.

We missed so many chances but we can create them almost on command.

The team is still gelling, thats clear to see.

But we keep on winning and are yet to conceed a goal.

And we are still strengthening the squad.

It looks good to me so far.

My first time in the south stand and i loved it!!! All the singing at the wolves fans. Great day and it was made better when we won but it was a scary last 20 minutes or so. We always seem to hang on and always just seem to sit back when we are only winning 1-0 but there you go hey. We are city!!!
Good to see some of you in the Townley to.

You aren't going to score off every chance you take. As long as you are creating chances you should be okay. Big thanks to the pretty boy for the text updates during the match.
