How on earth was you sceptical? Drugs for 10 years?

pretty much what I thought on reading that, Given has been consistently world class for years, Newcastle getting relegated after he left is no coincidence, he single handedly saved/won them many a point over the years.

I was jumping for joy when we signed him

'Scuse my ignorance but i truly didnt rate him that high before he came to city. Ive had a good look at him since he arrived tho, and he's been quality thru and thru since then.

Basically, I was sorry for Joe when Given joined. In Hart England have a top quality goalkeeper for years to come I reckon.

He will be worth 15 points at least for us this season. Save of the season for me so far, that was top quality.

Agreed. I had a great view of the shot and while the ball was in mid-air I was always expecting Shay to get a hand to it as he see it early and his view didnt seem to be blocked. Not sayin it was an easy save, but comfortable for a keep of Shays standard.

Tokyo, that is them most outrageous statement I have ever read. You sir are an absolute legend of the game, a true superstar.

The HYPERBOLE point is well made Tokyo. It was a superb save though.
Lucky to have Given? Or a well made decision to recruit him?

Is it just me or is the "could of", "should of", "would of" now been accepted into the english language curriculum?

I genuinely think that it's actually how they think it should be written! (or wrote)

I suspect that in the next few years it will be accepted as the norm.

Off topic I know but it get's my Goat!

I was sat 6 rows back and thought it looked like an amazin save!!! The footage on Match of The Day shows it slowed down and it looks like he's flying through the air - unbelievable - he'll be wirth a few points to us this season!
