he wouldn't come to play second fiddle to bridge. i think we've got probably the best back up left back we could. silvinho is class.

He has premier league experience and he's only played in the champion's league final THREE MONTHS ago.

He is perfect cover/competition for Wayne Bridge.

Fantastic bit of business IMO. Like I said, cover for Stevie and I'm happy to close up shop!

Bridge is fucking quality...have seen a marked improvement in him already this year...Silv is good cover though

Still needs to put the odd tackle in, but I admit, he is improving.
Silvinho brings a whole new dimension to the team. He's like another Winger (Bit like Bridge but actually tackles!!!) skillful and a good crosser, chips in with the odd goal too.
