love him. he's magic.
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.

cracker of a strike.

Let's not forget lads that Elano WANTED to leave so that he could get first team footy guaranteed to fight for his place on the Brasil WC squad. it's not like Les could have offered him that, or tried to stop him from leaving. I actually think time will tell that Hughes actually would have preferred him to stay with us tbh. esp. if the Riquelme link is true.

He's gone. I know I can cope.

He scored a few good strikes for us, when he first started, then it started to go downhill, when he couldnt get his own way.
How long before he does the same at Galatasary.

Harsh, he'll play well for 3 months at least ;-) and with the league been less demanding than the premiership he might extend it to 6 months.

Cracking goal though, if you can afford the luxury that is Elano then its a lovely luxury to have.

Yeh exactly. I knew we'd be watching 2 or 3 Elano wonder goals on youtube this year. The guy scores some great goals. Still doesn't detract from the fact that he was far too inconsistent and half the time looked like he couldnt be arsed.
