Loan Players

19th August vs Pompey - Quiet game, one save to make. CLEAN SHEET.
22nd August vs Stoke - Quiet game, no real save sof note to make. CLEAN SHEET.
29th August vs Spurs - Couple of decent saves, beaten by two good goals.

Jo (Everton)
4 games, 3 sub, no goals, no assists.

20th August vs Sigma - Came on for Saha on 78 mins.
23rd August vs Burnely - Came on for Fellani on 64 mins.
30th August vs Wigan - Came on for Saha on 76 mins, won the winning penalty and then hit the post with the last kick of the game.

thanks for doing this
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.

If you can be arsed doing it I would appreciate you keeping this running at points through the season (maybe monthly or two-weekly?)

Just so we can all build a picture up of whether it would be worthwhile having another look at any of these lads at City

Interesting to see if any of the other youngsters go?

I am very very happy with the pruning that has been done to the squad so far. Benjani is the only bit of "Danny Mills" that remains to be disposed of....even if he doesn't go, he's hardly the kind of character to be a bad dressing room influence so I'm not too fussed having him on the roster in case of (dire) emergencies

Thanks buddy I love threads like this. Just as a heads up, there's someone else to keep an eye on: Ryan McGivern at Leicester

Top marks for that mate!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Good to see Shaelum getting proper game time. I'd like to see him in a City shirt again at some point even if it were just to have another proper look at him

Well done great idea. Ryan McGivern was supposed to be going to Leicester on loan too.

Mc Dermot's a talented lad, does things that are almost genius at times but always seems to be slightly missing something. Can't put my finger on it.

Watched Hart v Spuds & thought he looked really really awful again; stranded half way whenever a ball came into the box. I can't think of a worse goalkeeper in the PL at the moment. Hope he gets it together or he'll start obviously costing them goals & end up out of their team. What will he do then?

That's the thing with Joe right now, Maik Taylor isn't bad keeper so he needs to up his game in order to keep the gloves. I watched the game as well and he looked very nervous.

Did he? I thought he just forced the corner where they scored. That's what someone said at the time.

I agree. The crouch header he half came for and then bottled it meanning the ball was out of reach to save. Dreadful at set peices still. Great thread. I like McGivern...as a footballer. I`ve not just got back from mardi gras or anything!!

I think saying he forced the corner might even be pusisng it a bit but he was definitely on the pitch.
