This is originally from Marca mate and the phrase is Riquelme 'could have received an offer from Manchester City'.
Bollox of the first order I reckon!

He'd be good to have in the squad IMO.
Bit slow, but his footwork more than makes up for his lack of pace. Just Imagine

If we said to him, look your coming here as Robbies mate and back up to our young Zidane, sit on the bench and have 40k a week, and dont winge

He'd be a bigger flop than Veron.

He might do the job, I'd be a bit unsure, but I'd rather he was here than no one as back up for Stevie. Although it's now been confirmed that Stevie is playing in a deeper role this season (the jury's out on whether this is a good thing IMO), if anything happens him, we are lacking central creativity, no doubt about it.

I don't think the Premier League suits him, it's far too pacey.
so now as every enemy circles our city
sour and sore, we swear war

I agree. Dont think he'd cut it in the Prem. Watched him a few times in the Argentinian league he doesnt look anywhere near the player he was.

IF PEOPLE WHINGED ABOUT ELANO THEN THE SAME WILL HAPPEN IF WE GET THIS GUY.
BOTH HIM AND ELANO ARE SUPERB PLAYERS, BUT TRACKING BACK ISNT PART OF HIS PLAY - AS BACKUP IT,S WELL WORTH IT, BUT HE,S A MOODY CUNT.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
