Well done little man, not a bad job at all. You could give some of the writers we have around here a few lessons.

2008/09 (2nd Round) Brighton 2 – 2 City (Albion won 5-3 on penalties)
2007/08 (5th round) City 0 – 2 Spurs (City beat Bristol City en-route to the 5th round and I was mascot at Ashton Gate!!!)
2006/07 (2nd round) Chesterfield 2 – 1 City
2005/06 (2nd round) Doncaster 1 – 1 City (Doncaster won 3-0 on penalties)

Far too many 2nd round exits in that list. I suddenly don't feel confident about this game now ;-)

Well in Mini-Wall!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Brilliant stuff Joe, I really enjoyed reading that. I hope you're going to write some more for us this season?

Good point about Warnock's double standards and balloon-gate, I hadn't thought of that!

In the 94/95 season, City lost 4-0 in the QF with Palace

I remember this game all too well. It was a midweek game so I swapped to an early shift which meant me getting up at 04:30am then getting the train to London straight after work. There was a really good turn out by the blues and a great atmosphere... then the game began!!
I hadn't arranged any transport home but was lucky enough to get a lift on a Supporters Club coach. This meant I spent the entire journey home sitting on the floor as there were no seats left, then I was dropped off the wrong side of Manchester from where I needed to be and didn't get home until after 2am..... I then got up again at 04:30am to go to work!!

I was a bit pissed off with City for a few days after that.

Great article, however I didn't think Warnock was manager of Sheff United during the infamous Balloon gate game.
