I'm going for other and that other would be Shay Given. Strikes me as real leader and good "public face" for the club.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Barry for me since he has bags of experience doing it already but Toure would be defo second choice.

Why's Dunne not an option? He'd be my pick. If he does leave, and I hope he doesn't, it'd have to be Barry.

I know Dunnie has been a City fixture for ever and should be awarded legend status for his services to the club through thin and thinner, but wouldn't you agree that should a more suitable captain be available for this campaign then they should be given the job?
Last season Dunnie got himself sent off at crucial times, scored own goals and generally fucked up an aweful lot when he should have leading by example and shouting down the slackers.
Personally, if Dunnie is staying, from what I've seen so far I'd still give the job to either Barry, Toure or Given.
Has the world gone mad, ..............or is it me?

Good shout actually, but I don't think a keeper should ever be captain. Communication is very important for a captain and it will be very difficult for Sheamus to get his point across to the likes of Binho, Ade and Tev.

If Dunnies not going to be here which looks ever more likely...It has to be Toure...no brainer...he's a natural leader and makes himself heard on the pitch

It will be quite difficult for Barry or anyone else to get their point across to that trio..... considering none of them seem to speak English!

Toure.

I voted for Barry BUT it is on the theoretical assumption Dunne leaves the club - Dunne should stay captain as long as he stays with us.
