They won't be able to move on any decent signings in 5 days.

On the upside, they might be able to pay the signing on fee for Benjani now.

Fuckin typical. They get taken over and now we have to face them when they've got 'new owner syndrome'.

Personally, I'd love to stick one up that gobshite Sulaiman Al Fahim, because not only is his first name almost an anagram of my user name, but he also made our club look stupid with all that talk straight after the takeover. Glad our owners got rid of him.

Incidentally, The Mirror still use his picture with the name Sheikh Mansour attached to it. I'm sure they do it on purpose.

Thinking he may have been warned off intruding on the Sheikh's patch until our all our buying had finished!!
Victory for pompy could result in a public flogging for Sulaiman back home, with a last min penalty resulting in their new owner having a hand chopped off.
points are in the bag for this one I think!! would be a big insult to our Sheikh if they won!!
Q. Which is your favourite goal? A. It has to be the second goal I scored during the last-ever Maine Road derby. I heard the fans singing a new song: "Who let the Goat out?" and I thought, "I'm having that one!" Eyal [Berkovic] placed a perfectly weighted pass into my stride. I held off two defenders and the ball bounced in front of me, allowing me to make a gentle half-volley over Barthez. It was my 100th goal for Man City and particularly satisfying to score against Man Utd.

True, but they'll be on a high and all fired up, just like last season when Hart came in. Just our sodding luck.

Just like we were against Chelsea last season - how did that go then?

Bad timing indeed! Just our luck eh! But on the other hand, its time for our team to show its colors - what its made of.

LOL - We could take him down there and forget to bring him back ;-)

I assume they've highlighted and perhaps already started to target some players, but I agree that they're cutting it close ... Shame.
