'Funky Given' - Sweep was best outfield player but nowhere near MoTM.

Easy - Given

Toure was superb though and will be an unsung hero for us this year, he'll be that good you will not notice him.

Aye, still Given.

SWP was quality. Happy with Lescotts performance and Barry proved again why he's going to be an absolutely quality signing.
Ade was top and Tevez didn't stop running. To be fair, everyone was putting in a shift tonight. The team played some quality stuff and I can't wait to see more.

Goalkeepers can't win you games, but they can sure as hell stop you from losing games

Given is well on his way to becoming a city legend a la Corrigan (not included Bert as his circumstances were somewhat different)

SWP for me
Shay saved us the game but for me little Shaunie won it he even took a half decent corner for Polly to score and his goal was superb

i went for lescott, purely because i find it astounding a player can play that well after only one light training session with his new team. incredible.

Same for me,the last Blue to do that was Benarbia and he turned out to be bloody brilliant for us.
It bodes well for Mr Lescott.
