Photoshop wizards

Postby david yearsley » Sat Aug 29, 2009 10:33 am

With the "viva el city" thing being in vogue atm , had this idea of a Spanish flag in sky/navy blue - one thing I can´t do is put the City crest where the Spanish coat of arms is on the left - anyone help? Might make a good t-shirt (or not as the case maybe!)

Patrick is even better at this stuff. He could do something that would blow you away if you asked him. It would make the stuff in this thread seem amateurish for sure.

What sort of size do you want it?

I have been known to dabble in PS stuff.

Anyone who cant afford Photoshop (or who just wants to dabble without spending a huge chunk of cash) - there's a project called 'paint net' which is free to download and offers some of the functionality of PS - it was developed by a bunch of graduates with backing from Microsoft as a graduate project to upgrade 'Microsoft paint'. There's an active community developing plugins for it too. Take a look at http://www.getpaint.net/ (I installed it a few days ago and it is really rather good, might take some getting used to though)
VIVA EL CITIES

"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

That was done using nothin but MS paint.

Patrick uses VI or Wordstar, then converts it to EBCDIC, prints it to punch cards, then paints the cards, then scans them, and then using GIMP adds the final touches.

that's all i'm saying.

Ha ha - funny how a simple idea can get lost in cyberspeak! Anyway tried that net paint but you need to buy all sorts of plug-ins etc and for the amount of times I would use it - not worth it
Do you think I should PM Pat( I wouldn´t want to piss him off you see!) with some of the ideas and maybe he could come up with a mancityfans.net MarkII t-shirt - I´d defo have one !
