UNITED FAIL IN MOVE FOR IRELAND

Manchester United have failed in a sensational bid to prise Stephen Ireland away from arch rivals Manchester City.

Sir Alex Ferguson hoped that the 23-year-old Irishman could be tempted away from Eastlands because Mark Hughes has an embarrassment of midfield riches with Gareth Barry, Nigel de Jong and Vincent Kompany in his squad.

But United were told that there was no chance of City selling Ireland – their current player of the year – at any price.

Ireland, who has just signed a five-year deal at City, said: “I want to be part of what happens at City because I think we’re going to achieve great things.

“I want to be around when that happens. I don’t want to be anywhere else.

“I’ve been happy here since I came over from Ireland at the age of 14. From then I set my sights on staying at Manchester City and that’s how I still feel.”

fuck off fergie you cunt. hes our superman ;).

Bullshit I reckon.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

If there is any truth in this garbage then they are more fucking deluded than I give them credit for.

What would they have offered City?, they don't have enough money to be able to afford Ireland even if they sold Rooney AND Vidic.

As if that pile of shit had a chance of getting him anyhow, pure Daily "we love u*****d" Mirror bullshit.

I can imagine Fergie being pissed as fook on Bells and coming up with the idea that it would be a great way to unsettle our club by going in for Ireland, like what we done with Terry. I see that rag badge these days and the thought 'laughing stock' comes straight to mind.

If this did happen lol, I PROBALY BULLSHIT LOL.
Everyone must not forget we have won jack shit yet, so, when clubs like united come in for our players it would be interesting to see what happens.
But the wages the player are on at us is virtually a guaranteed in a way that we will keep most players.

I can't imagine someone wasn't laughing when they put wealth of talent and "De Jong and Kompany" in the same sentence.

If there's one team who need a midfielder of supermans quality it is the rags but they can fuck right off, not going to happen under any circumstances. He has already stated his dream of staying at City forever and having a stand named after him in the future. He is an integral part of our team and, as i have stated before, i believe he will be our modern day Colin Bell. I rate him that much.

Wait wait wait, we can't have two Colin Bells in the side and we already have Johnson.

I think the confusion has arisen after sir bacon face expressed a wish to sign Superman for his Fantasy Football Team!

Unfortunately for him, the league he is in with his mates has a rule preventing them having any City players. Obviously this upset the purple nosed one greatly and he reacted by ringing his journo mate and whinging about it.
