Sporting Index have us winning by 1-2 goals, they are giving Portsmouth very little chance.

According to the bbc site Pete Walton is reffing our game - after also doing the Spuds/Brum game yesterday. Is this usual? Would've thought they only did one game per weekend.

Well, that's bad news for a start. Our chances of winning have just been drastically reduced.

I want to go on record as saying I believe we will have to beat more than the XI opposition players in some of our games this season.

Totally agree, as was seen in the Palace game. On a brighter note, it looks like Pompey won't be able to field a team soon:

MAIL ON SUNDAY: Portsmouth are looking to ease their cash troubles by selling off star England goalkeeper David James. It reports that Spurs, Sunderland and Stoke are interested in signing the England international who could leave for £1.5m.

Rats, sinking ship.............

Come on City! We can beat this team of very average defensive midfielders.

Come on City, entertain us! We for whatever reason do pretty crap at lunch time kick-off's for whatever reason, hopefully that's all behind us now. Paul Hart usually has his teams playing decent football, so I'm hoping we see some decent free flowing footy.

£240 riding on this!

This is a typical 'typical City' match.

All the signs are that we should demolish them and get every forward player on the score sheet, but I'm bracing myself for an arse twitching 1 goal lead and a plethora of missed chances from both sides.

Still, I'll be over the moon to be proved wrong....and I'll be happy with a win however we achieve it.

Pretty ordinary price.

Ade at 4/1 E/W first goal scorer is the bet for me today.
