Arsenal game sellout?

Now I know it's not the most reliable source, but the club online booking system is only showing seats left in block 301, everything else appears sold out.

Anyone have accurate gen on this?

Nearly 2 weeks before the match and the juggernaut is starting to roll. Rebuild stadium quick!

We should be filling the stadium and have a waiting list with the cuurrent excitement around the club. I know times are hard for a lot of people but if you can afford to go, you should be there. We need the 'House Full' signs up as often as possible this season and we need to crank the noise up with it

Had a gander on friday and there was maybe 200, so it should be by now although there will be still be a few on seat exchange.

Long may it continue as it's shite when there's 40k or 25k in cups, can't wait for the game though crap these international breaks.

If we're not firmly in third place in this table at the end of this season it's a poor, poor show

Team ----------------- 07/08 08/09 +/-%
Manchester United---- 75,691 75,309 -0.50
Arsenal ----------------60,070 60,040 -0.05
Newcastle United ------51,321 48,750 -5.01
Liverpool --------------43,532 43,611 +0.18
Manchester City ------42,126 42,900 +1.84
Chelsea---------------- 41,397 41,588 +0.46
Sunderland ------------43,344 40,168 -7.33
Aston Villa -------------40,029 39,812 -0.54
Tottenham Hotspur ---35,967 35,929 -0.11

Yep it's time for our fans to do their bit. We've had everything put on a plate for us so we should be at least close to full houses every week & 3rd in the attendace league.

The West Ham game looks to be selling well so maybe everyone's waking up & getting their arses into gear.

The buzz of the fans is a driving force imo when you go on a top level title race & I think we should try to push the players on & create one. We can affect results. We should raise the roof off the place when we play Arsenal, even if we go a goal down, let them know we're serious & we're after them. These players are good enough to respond. Years ago we would've done & it's time we started doing it again.

Yeah I know they have a bigger capacity but, honestly, we should have an average round about our capacity this season

I cannot see the elephant man being able to do anything that leads to full houses every match on Wearside....so we should be third, barring a footballing miracle in the north east

Agreed, think they got around 38k the other week and think our lowest will be 42k but hopefully we get 47k every week.

Just hope we do a Hamburg for the Fulham cup match as it depresses the shit outta me when there's 25k :o(

I hope so too. Although lots of people moaned (after missing out on tickets) due to the importance of that match. It is much better for the atmosphere, the club's long term fanbase and the image of us as fans if we have a packed house every single match.

So if that means dropping ticket prices (to shift remaining tickets and ensure a sell-out) for early cup rounds and matches that are televised then so be it. All of those cheap ticket purchasers will buy things like beer, pies, programmes and merchandise. Each unsold ticket also constitutes lost revenue.

PLUS, as a fan, it's a miles miles better matchday experience when the place is packed out

Guaranteed to be better than wolve's, most people seemed (me included) to expect abit of a tonking and when they didn't go in the atmosphere ended quite nervously.

Really looking forward to Arsenal just wish there was no international breaks and it was saturday.

to be honest, wolves and arsenal was always going to be sell outs, wolves because of new players and arsenal, well because its arsenal. what we want is to be sold out for teams like fulham, birmingham, blackburn and the like. if teams cart sell there 3k say a wk b4, then lets have them back and for us to sell them

I'd be surprised if we sell out any games other than the derby with the ridiculous prices. When i looked for tickets for the Wolves game the cheapest were £36 - and they were £44 for Arsenal! They've priced me and the 3 people i used to go with out of matches now, shouldn't they be trying to increase the fanbase instead of shrinking it? I was hoping to start taking my son to matches when he gets a bit older (3 or 4 years time) but with the price of 2 tickets + parking + petrol it'll be over £50 just for 1 match so he'll have to watch them online and on TV unless prices are cut to a reasonable level.
Seems a shame that i spent 20 years watching City and now they look like finally winning trophies i won't be able to go!

The average price we pay for away tickets is between £36 and £44 so it's on a par with the rest.

Personally I don't think City, of all clubs, can be criticised much over prices the last 10 years. There were some pretty keen deals on kids' season tickets about this year.

Season tickets are an absolute steal. Ticket prices were very good last year but they've hiked them up alot this year to be on a par with the rest of the league - some by about £8 or £9 I think. Clever marketing tactic though.

Next year will be the acid test with season ticket prices.
