Arsenal Fans' Opinion on City

They don't seem to rate us at all.

Some highlight comments are that our defence is beyond comical. Er is this the same defence that hasn't conceded once in 4 games?

Someone also suggested Gareth Barry is a poor DM. Yeah, right.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. hope the arsenal players think the same way the supporters do - honestly couldn't care less what they think. it'll be a good game, and our first real test. i'm excited to see what happens regardless.

Going to be tough and won't help having international break as we won't get much time to train together and gel but it's going to be bouncing at eastlands and there mugs if they think were mercenarie's who'll be easily out fought.

Barry has been outstanding so far and i expect Toure and Ade to have blinder's.

That was fun for a bit, I would like them to keep thinking it so when we are sitting on 15 points they can tell us we are just posers.

to be fair, and without any real sense of arrogance...i didn't see anything in the match that Arsenal and the Scum played this weekend that made me feel that is inconceivable that we could win both matches. In fact, i'd be surprised if we didn't at least win one.

cheers

This "eternal" fella sounds like a bright spark :-

"Have to win this game. Getting 3 points from this game would be better than coming back with a draw in both games if you think about it. And the fact that man city are scum.

Lets get Rosicky back hopefully and we should have a descent bench for this game.

I don't think I could bare to watch another england game the football is just plain awful."

DUHHHHHHHHH is that because you'd get three points rather than just two?? DUHHHHHHHHH........

They don't think much of us, but then again I don't really think anything of their team, other than that they play superb passing football, but with no cut and thrust, never have a chance of winning anything and some on there said it themselves, their only aim as a club is to end 4th, as they know they are not good enough to go any higher.

I think we can beat them convincingly next game, 2-0 or 4-1 depends if we wish to be clinical or wasteful again, what I saw against a scum side who are a poor shadow of the side they were last season, was a shambolic mess of players that froze on the big stage, and whether they like it or agree with it or not, we are big stage and big time now, every side wants to beat us more than they did last season and every other clubs fans hate us and cannot wait for us to lose our first game, because they are jealous as fuck at our wealth and owners sense and knowledge of both business, advertisement and football issues.

I would be worried if they did rate us and sincerely hope all their players feel exactly the same. In fact, I don't give a fuck if they are telling all their mates how shit they think we are as we lift the League trophy and replace them in Europe next season.

Their fans are just an arrogant bunch of one eyed tossers.

Not much I agreed with in there, other than they will set up to counter attack with pace. Hopefully MH has a plan for that.

I often listen to bollox opinions about City in the pub, or at work.

Have they watched us? No
Are they actually aware who we've signed? No, vague idea only
Do they know we won 3(4 with Palace) and conceded 0? Unlikely
Have they regularly watched any of our players? No chance

But there's a lot of 'Oh I dont think City will make top 4 this year' etc. But what do they know? Sweet FA

Haha Arsenal fans were even saying Ade wasn't any good. Prize plonkers!

I don't know, I think they could finish 3rd or even 2nd this season. It think they'll finish ahead of Liverpool. There's a good chance we could finish ahead of Liverpool too.

But on topic - fuck the gooners. Obvious signs of fear. If you really think a team are nothing to fear, you wouldn't waste your time contributing to a thread slating every aspect you could.

You'd just do nothing.

Fabregas probably still be injured
Arshavin has a tear in some muscle somewhere
Rosicky is coming back from injury.

If those 3 dont play, we will piss it. 3-0 again.

Arsenal fans are idiots.

Sat in a bar in Spain with me mates in our City shirts we was watching us against Wolves there was three gooners in watching the Arse play Pompey on another box in the bar, one of them was slaughtering Adebayor when he rounded the keeper and skied it against wolves whilst dissing City, personally I couldn’t decide if they were looking for a good slapping or were being serious, what those fcukers know about football could be written on the back of a postage stamp, anyway two of the gooners managed to shut their pissed up mate up so there was no need to pursue the matter. I reckon its sour grapes on their part.
