It appears we have offered him a shitty payoff, so it comes down to whether Dunney wants the move and walk away from a supposed £6million he'd earn over the next 2 years with us.

Looks like the Guardian may have jumped the gun a little earlier. Hope it doesn't go through in time!

I don't understand why the club are haggling over this, what's a few million to the owner these days? It's not like he's Danny Mills or someone like that, he deserves some respect from the club.

Agree. Give the man his loyalty payment. God knows he deserves it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I'm sure it's not Dunney who's haggling, I'm sure it's probably agents taking the piss and squeezing every last drop out of the deal before it goes through. They're just doing their job. It just happens that their job is to behave like greedy bastards.

One or two on here were 'genuinely concerned' when Jo went to one of our main rivals.

Yet no genuine concern for a far better, influential player going to one of our main rivals?

strange...........

I wanted this to fail :-( Never mind. Good luck Dunney, one of the few players I consider worthy of legend status, you stuck with us through the shit and for that THANKYOU.

Ned, Kompany, Barry are all experienced centre half's Mee, McGivern are capable understudies for a few games.

Looks Like Dunney is staying anyway.

It's a done deal, Villa have had confirmation that the registration arrived in time, just waiting for the Prem Lg to also confirm
