Inducement to breach of contract over the Gael Kukuta deal with Lens in 2007.

This is outstanding news for us. The only club who have a better squad than us and could attract the players we want have been banned from buying players.

Things are falling into place for us.

Now how about a Ferige heart attack?

it is.
breach of contract by Gael Kukuta, fined loads of euros and a 4 month ban; and inducing a breach of contract by Chelsea, banned from registering players for the next two transfer windows - effectively until Jan 2011.

edit: not just registering - signing.

Presumably this is right out of the blue. I can't remember reading anything about expecting major punishment for them.
However, are we whiter than white?
All those conspiracy theories about how Uefa and Fifa will stop us in our tracks, are we vulnerable?
On the face of it good news, but ...
It does seem a tad harsh by the way.

think it was the FA rather than UEFA or FIFA - not sure though yet - Chelski haven't responded yet on SSN.

Chelsea are really being made an example of here. Normally that type of rule breaking results in a fine. Chelsea would have known that but whats a £130k fine to them. Hit them where it hurts!

Happy days.

The BBC are reporting on the yellow ticker, that fifa have issued the ban. it's seems a bit cruel, could you imagine that happening to us, worrying for sure, just hope our noses are clean..

SSN were saying it was FIFA
Be careful what you wish for. We have been recruiting from all over the shop. Mak, Nimley, Weiss, the kid from Schalke. Have we used similar tactics?
Are Chelsea now the ones ruining football?

Well if that's the case then it'll be overtuned by the FA within a fortnight, the spineless fuckers that they are!

h'apparently it was not the case - my mistake. It was some dispute resolution chamber affiliated with FIFA. SSN have just brought on a sports lawyer who's offered the following, quite brilliant, insight: "Chelsea will appeal".
