Sweden up 0-1. Great header from Mellberg on a corner.

Watched England after I got back from pub watching Finland game. I thought England was quite poor to be honest and none of our lads really seemed to impress. Their goal was Lescott's fault.

I still can't get my head around players like Carlton Cole and Emile Heskey featuring for England.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

If Johnson would have been doing his fucking job it wouldn't have got that far.

It wasn't a qualifier mate, it was a friendly. Hardly worth halting the Premier League for really.

The rest of Europe are playing qualifiers, mate. I reckon we'd do pretty well with only English players, but some teams might find it a tad unfair.

Very impressed with Sweden's first half. We've been playing like shit lately, but tonight it's looking all good. Should've been two or three up. Even Elmander is showing promising signs (he hasn't scored of course).

That's the thing with you Swedes though. In just about any sport, but especially in football, you've always been able to deliver results despite playing poorly. Something our national side has lacked as long as I can remember. Must have something to do with national mentality or something like that. Our lads always try too hard when things aren't going our way whereas you Swedes stay calm. Having top quality finishers helps as well though I'm sure.

Last time I looked, we were 4 points behind Hungary and 6 behind Denmark. We've hardly been dlivering so far this qualification. I sort of get what you're saying, but - whithout trying to be rude - Sweden has a way better team than Finland. We've been getting our results through organisation and grafting. I actually been very impressed with the Finnish national team the last years. You've been giving Germany a good fight a few times and have constantly been just below qualification.

FOOOOOKING HELL. Sweden's been dominating the whole fucing game, and then Hugrary gets a really fucking cheap penalty in the 79th minute.

1-1

I really hope we can make a second. Magyar Posta really don't deserve a draw.

Sweden won't have a chance to qualify without a win right? A draw is no good?

We'd still have the chance, but it'd be slim. It still is, just not as slim.
