Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I'm really looking forward to this one.
We stuffed them at our place last year, we have spent millions, they have spent virtually nothing, surely that means we'll stuff 'em again?

Is that cunt available, Kompany?

Just looking at the odds and the bookies have Arsenal as favourites! Why??
We are yet to concede a goal and we stuffed them last season so why the fucl are we not fancied to win this home game?

I was looking at the sky sports odds last night and we were slight favourites, unless they've changed?
I would love to bet on City but not whilst we're playing Arsenal! I normally bet on teams we should pummel and offer fairly decent odds.

Mate I'd say it might have something to do with Robinho and Tevez ruled out. Other than Ade, our forward line does not look too scary all of a sudden and when we bet them last season while we were very good they were God awful.
That said, I think we've a better defence so if the likes of Superman is on form (touch wood), it will be key. Today, more so than ever, the link from midfield to forward line is gonna be vital, given the lack of workrate from tevez and creation from Robinho.
I'm confident we can beat them, but its become a lot more difficult since we lost the two lads.

I was just looking at our strikers on the official MCFC site and after Adebayor and Bellamy do you know who's next in line?
Benjani!
We should never have sent Bojinov off on loan in my opinion.

So what do you think the team will look like without Tev and Robson?
I think we'll line up like this:
Given
Zab-Toure-Lescott-Bridge
de Jong
Ireland-Barry
SWP-Ade-Bellamy

It looks like that right now chief, but that's only because Robinho and Tevez are out and RSC isn't fit yet.
The scenario changes dramatically in 2 weeks. He wouldn't have gotten a sniff IMO.

Although we are weakened through injuries i still think we have the ammo to beat them.Hope Weiss gets a game.
Gutted Robbie aint playin. He would have shone in this one.I reckon Barry and Superman will be the key to winning.

If we keep a clean sheet today it'll be the first time we've had 5 in a row since 1915.......so expect an Arsenal goal inside 5 minutes.

Love to see a victory today, but with key players missing for 2 of our most important games, win today, we are truly going to be taken seriously, and maybe even I will believe what may be happening. a loss would be a real blow, a draw, I will accept, ... Come on lads, get it on....
