Bellers for me too, he basically dragged us back into the game when we seemed to just be letting it pass us by, tackling back was excellent and the run to lay SWP on summed him up in one passage of play.
Bridge was superb again, been a changed player so far this season, regular football and a full pre-season with his teammates seems to have done him the world of good.
For a spell in the second half Micah was great going forward, still looks the week link positionally at the back though.
Shay great as usual
Barry great for 85 mins of the game (then turned off along with every else)
Toure and Lescott look like a proper CB pairing, with more games together they will only get better I reckon

As already said,
Ade, Bellamy, DeJong, Barry, Richards, Bridge, Given and Toure were outstanding, but as he did drag us back into the game and his non stop effort throughout, plus a goal and an assist, I went for Bellers

Ive said it on another thread but Nigel is our spoiler, he is not there to turn a game by beating ten players and scoring a wonder goal, he is there to stop the opponents from getting through the back four. Given a run of games you will see he is not pap.

Gotta go with Bellamy, with Ade close second almost even with De Jong.
The way he built the fourth goal was simply fantastic: winning a ball in our half, 40mts' sprint and well timed assist for SWP

Bellamy worked flat out virtually all game - box to byeline. Good finish solid tackling and should get three assists for the work he did in the build up to SWP's goal.
Ade did great but not MOM for the stamp for which I think he will have repurcussions that may be made worse if Tevez and Robbie are not fit next week.

Bellamy. Fantastic tracking back to win the ball and set up SWP. I think the criticism of Lescott is harsh. It's only his 3rd game. I thought he was unlucky with the challenge on Van Persie who took his goal well. It was Lescotts tackle that started the move for the 2nd goal.
It's early days and the new players are still getting to know each others game plus Ireland and SWP haven't hit top form yet. Give it a few more games and I think we'll be playing even better. Good times.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Bellers for me too. It was Nigel but Bellamy stormed home.
Honorable mentions to the entire squad. Top team effort.

another tough one for me this week - went for bellers but Micah, Given or Ade could've equally got it

De Jong. Thought he did a cracking job breaking down the Arse attacks. Eactly the knid of player we need against attack minded sides.

Closely followed by Bellamy, then could have been almost everyone.

Bellamy for me - his work rate, tracking back to get the ball back, and his determination was first class.
Once Ireland went off and Bellamy went up front with Ade and Petrov down the left, it changed the game and Bellamy was just unplayable. His goal was well taken and he really did look well up for it today.
I'd love him to wind up the rag defenders next Sunday :)

Hmmm, if Dunne had fucled up like Lescott did for the first goal I can't help but feel there would have been a few threads on here slagging him off.
He was turned by a quick peice of skill although it was by a girl.
Bellamy for me no question. Has anyone said well done to MH for picking the correct team yet?

I thought most peole would have voted for Ade as he was a lot more visible for his goal & celebration but i'm pleasantly surprised that Bellamy is getting the recognition he deserved for yesterdays all round contribution. Great game from Bellers.
