Absolute man mountain and is boss with the ball as well. Love the fact that we have someone who can provide physical presence yet is still very good with ball on his feet.ยจ

Kolo, I salute you!

Love seeing him in our side. How refreshing it is to see a City centre half looking so comfortable wit the ball at his feet.

It is good to see, and makes you wonder how we have survived since the last one (Dave Watson???).

Quite right. Running through midfield at times - unheard of since Distin's twice-a-season runs.

It's great to have him there and no doubt he's gonna be a good player for Ned to work with and improve upon himself with.

Ahh a Kolo Toure thread. Obviously you have an agenda you are trying to push. Where is the Wayne Bridge thread? Huh? Huh?

Trying not to get too giddy, but I really cannot remember a better CB in my lifetime at City. Watching him dribble past players and pass the ball along the ground makes me jump around in hysteria.

Wayne Bridge thread? I still think he has been bit sketchy this season although clear improvement on last one. If you disagree then go and start a topic about him.

Kolo Toure's looking an absolutely brilliant signing & imo Lescott's not far behind. As the season goes on those two could turn out to be one of the best partnerships in the PL. Still get caught out at the moment but not half as much as I thought they would this early in their careers.

It's great that I've no longer got my heart in my mouth every time the ball comes to one of our centrebacks on the ground or in the air.

Calmness personified, he's gonna be a great captain.

Advice that should have been taken by some before...

Kolo's been brilliant. Not MOTM by any means yet, but sure if there's a thread for support of one of players I'll either agree or not post in it.

All hail Captain Kolo!

Initially thought that maybe Barry had been bought with the intention of giving him the captaincy, but Toure has been great so far - a definite authoritative presence.

I love it when he pounds forward towards midfield with the ball if there isn't a pass on.

He's been superb in defence, another class signing by Hughes! And as said, he's acting like a real leader with his captaincy role.
